About Ramon Cortez, Jr., Owner of The Lockout Guy

I started my locksmith career unlocking cars in 2018, and in 2019 I joined the team at Pros On Call in El Paso. After working there for two years honing my locksmith skills, I founded The Lockout Guy and have been my own boss ever since!

Throughout my career, I’ve learned how to unlock, repair, replace, and rekey automotive, residential, and commercial locks, and so much more. Year after year, my passion for the locksmith industry continues to grow as I learn new techniques and improve my technical skills. My greatest joy is solving a customer’s problem that no one else can fix.

Most recently, I completed a series of professional courses to learn how to duplicate, originate (make from scratch), and program keys for domestic and foreign automotive brands, including Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, and VW. My next goal is to invest in more locksmith courses to get certified to work on safes and vaults.

I’m fully licensed and carry full liability insurance, so my customers can rest assured they will always receive top-notch, professional locksmith services. My Texas Locksmith License number is #B18889901.
